 what's up rockstars today is tuesday and that means there's some new kickstarters for you to look at plus i'm going to give you some updates on some old ones and some announcements of some ones coming up let's go and get

now as always a huge shout out to my patrons and youtube members it is through their financial support that i am able to make videos just like this where i give you my honest opinion on things and not my wallets opinion on things that's because none of these game companies pay me a dime so that i can independently cover the industry so if you appreciate that honesty there's a link down below to that additionally if you can't do that that's fine if you just don't want to i understand a like a comment saying this video was helpful or something else like that helps a lot and i greatly appreciate it addition if you want to be in on some unboxings and reviews and announcements and coverage of the industry especially around miniature board game kickstarters this is probably the place to be go ahead and click that subscribe button if you desire uh with that out of the way let's just go and do this and youknow i read all you guys comments okay so i know you want me to to fix my squeaky chair i'll get on that someday i promise it'll happen you won't notice because you won't hear it creaking under me but it'll happen i did see that comment i just haven't done it yet uh let's go ahead and start on eld fall chronicles so this is brand new i've been talking with this a while i actually will be doing a review on this i wanted to have a review here i know i said you'd either see a review today you'd be sad here's me sad um i have read the rule book i have set it up we are ready to go i just need to get some really good game time in there are a few quests i want to do so i'll be doing those and i'll get you a review as soon as i can as soon as i get enough game time in to properly talk about it you guys know i do in-depth reviews none of that high level crap so uh if you're wanting a 10-minute review i'm not going to give you that but if you want a 40-plus minute review with a lot of details about gameplay and stuff well then i'll probably provide something for you uh that being said looking at the miniatures and i'll show a few off here in a moment and reading the rule book it does looksuper cool so i'm definitely excited about that the action reaction system is nice i like that i like the fact that there are quests that you go on and do stuff these summons are interesting and cool uh they have a really cool like combat that was my dog whining apparently um

anyway uh he's gotten bigger by the way i don't know if you can see him right now but he's gotten big huh bigger anyway um there's like like combat arts and spells and stuff but there are tiers to it and you can select which one you want to do and you might want to do tier two instead of tier three because it matches with its you know whatever its stats are a little bit better stuff like that some really interesting stuff there that i like and uh yeah the minis like i said look great the the fact that they're gonna be adding terrain via stretch goals and stuff like that is awesome i love that kind of uh support it's got uh templates one of the sad things i saw in ninth edition of warhammer 40k was that there are no more templates now i actually like the you know blast and stuff like that i think it streamlines it works well for it but i do love templates too so you're just like there's a fireball you know like that kind of stuff is or there's an explosion and it's literally a round thing and everything there is a fa i really enjoy that kind of stuff too so that's always fun so i do like those and uh yeah it looks pretty straightforward they got different factions that you can pick from or you're just going to get the whole thing they have the early bird amazon lady which is right here mind you this is my 3d print so it's nothing uh you know super fancy but as you can see there she is there it's kind of cool some units have multiples or some are just singular uh which is you know kind of nice uh that you have kind of troop units and then hero units and stuff like that they're not marked necessarily like that um it just kind of all depends but as you can see they look great in my opinion i think they're very well designed very cool and interesting um kind of layouts and uh just just poses there is some sculpts on the on the bases not a whole lot uh so you can still kind of do your own thing but there's quite a bit um yeah just really really cool stuff in my opinion i think so i think they're cool let's do one more let's do one more let's do a uh let's just do the bow and arrow guy why not we'll do him he's cool he's cool here's here's bow and arrow man so anyway very cool minis uh i i'll be printing out right now actually the uh the big summons and stuff you can do like like like this guy is actually somebody you can summon and uh yeah that's pretty gnarly so very cool stuff there and again i think it's nice to just kind of have the here's kind of the early bird box where you get all the different stuff but you can also specify that hey hey hey let off which which ones you want right so you can get the creature expansion tokens world map where you can get uh just kind of a nice little printed map or you can uh go ahead and get some specifics if you want that uh they look great the factions look cool all that uh definitely interested in a lot of they actually have items in inventory where you can select their different weapons and stuff like that just cool stuff in general all right moving on from that we have vengeance roll and fight i can't remember if i commented on this or not but i want to comment it on now if i did it was very high level i'm doing it a little bit more detail uh now i will say if you love rolling dice you know i do there's a lot of rolling dice here and re-rolling dice and then kind of assigning them out now i've actually enjoyed that ever since i played kingsburg and then stuffed fables and then even solomon kane and i really do like the whole roll dice and then figure out you know my optimal stuff that can do there i'd be interested to know the uh co-op mechanics here um if you know like i can give dice to other people or there's a common pool and stuff like that i know teenage mutant turtles does something similar to that as well so a lot of stuff i still want to know but you can also actually get the minis but the price of this is what's so cool so moving on from this that's just like the original game let's go and look at the actual prices here because yeah okay so you can get this new one here the new vengeance roll and fight episode one includes overkill promo pack 29 bucks sure 29 bucks for a whole bunch of dice and cards and maps and all that kind of stuff that sounds awesome um so yeah 30 bucks is great i think for there i think that's awesome and you can get the episode two as well to even more for 55 but still i mean again we're not talking heavy miniatures games the price is actually really good that being said a lot of people charge a lot for dice so i'm glad they're not doing that i really do appreciate that and you can get the minis you get the hero minis eight of them 15 bucks 15 bucks you got minis there you go now how great of a minions are they going to be i don't know but uh honestly i i mean it just you can get this game with minis for pretty darn cheap and i think that's cool uh and like i said it looks like fun you know i haven't played it so i can't i can't you know say one way or the other but i do love rolling dice i like the kind of the setting that they have i like the idea of violently charging people by assigning four dice to this i think that's cool too and uh yeah it just there's a lot of stuff that seems nice here so definitely interested i'm gonna look more into to see if i'm actually gonna back it but uh i don't see why i wouldn't recommend it it looks cool now castle paintings deluxe edition this is the deluxe collection this is the second time on kickstarter they're doing way better as you can see i think they're doing better and uh there's a guy running wolf so i'm instantly liking that the minis i'm sure are kind of poopy uh below average um that being said the style that they're in lends itself to kind of crappier minis they're not going for nice detailed leather texture here okay so this is very cartoony and so you got to go in expecting that so that's a very important thing to do but they're doing such a better job with this one right up front they give you this really nice image of kind of everything and then you know they show off right now the castle pieces the monster minis and all that kind of stuff uh the new art so they're showing like hey here's the new good stuff here and the pledge levels are actually broken down really really nicely so it shows you kind of what you're getting it explains what this includes or doesn't include it even has a recommended add-on in case there's something missing that might be highly desirable like a play mat how much that is and then it even has a little description on okay this is actually what this is right and they do that for each one and i think that's really really well done so here it shows that this is not including components for many of the expansions um you know not not not a complete game right so they're definitely showing what each one is and i think that's really really smart of them i think that's a great idea so i like seeing that and they do have one called the the all-in level so it's not actually titled that but they are calling it all in so that can give you some kind of confidence and it says 350 bucks that's a lot of money um but but it's castle panic so you know if you like it or not typically so like if you know you like castle panic and you just want a deluxified version of it well there there you go there you go um and then again they showed off here and you know it's a little kind of cheap and wonky and you see the troll mage isn't having the same lighting and contrast as the goblin cling and stuff like that it's a little it still reminds me of a very indie project which is kind of weird with castle panic but um very much not the super ultra deluxe professional like showing off of things here but sufficient i think for what they're trying to do and i think they have a good layout as well where they're showing off all the different monsters it'd be nice to know how like how tall this wizard tower is and stuff like that but honestly i think it's pretty pretty nice they do have uh their bases you'll see they have this they have the little spin uh part to show the uh the health that is i think up here they show that off as well yeah right here you can kind of see what i'm talking about there so anyway very cool um i'm glad they're doing well here they definitely uh definitely improved since the last time next up time for some actual fancy miniatures here here's zodiac mystic signs by scale 75 and uh these look really nice they do have new paints as well new fluorescents new inks new metallics new regular paints so they got some new colors and stuff here you can get 35 or 75 which i think is awesome for those that maybe you want a super fancy mini but they don't need it super big and expensive i think that's always a great option uh when you're doing stuff like this they're showing off some of the new colors there are 24 new colors so that's kind of nice and some of them look quite good too so there's that the kind of art book as you can see the design of these are incredible they do have a sitting mini and that's important right i always see there he is i'll show him off in a little bit um always like seeing uh sitting miniatures it's for whatever reason it's it's fascinating to me to have something so placent as sitting and then make that visually interesting right and it's it's more how they sit and their design and how you know what their chair looks like and stuff with i mean look at this is craziness is what a lot of these are they're really really good um really really well done so i love how different each of them are freaking crab um that just looks great i think they all look great it'd be hard just to pick a few here um because they look good and again they're all so different like he fundamentally different other people you notice here mask no mask right and you'll see that here mask no mask and that's because i think in their stretch goals they're showing that eventually you'll get extra pieces for each one see there's that mask so you'll get either masked versions or unmessed versions or for whatever reason differences in them uh so i really hope they hit that and i think they will they're doing pretty good um this looks really nice it really does um i think it's probably one of their best ones so and they've done quite a few of these at this point but yeah definitely looks super cool again it is resin fancy miniatures they look amazing they're fantastic to paint they're super expensivedon't feel like you need to get every single one pick out the one two or three that really call out to you and just grab those or if you want grab more and drop them to 35 they'll still look fantastic you'll be happy with them um there's a lot of options here for you which i think are great i do think anybody who paints an integer should treat themselves at least once to a fancy resin miniature it is definitely quite a great experience and it can be a little addicting too but it's pricey it's bright even even for me and i run a channel on this crap and it's pricey so i get that it's not for everybody but again even if you just grab 135 millimeter sometimes it's really nice to paint a display piece and have this really fancy intricate you know non cheap pvc you know board game mini that you might have like it it's a it's a different experience and it's pretty cool so highly recommend that and then of course you can grab paints if that's what you're after too or in addition to moving on we have mini quest adventures now i'm in the stuff that i've already covered before and just want to cover again um this is i think it looks really good i would play this over a tiny epic game i think anytime i i was kind of burned by tiny epic tactics it's all right it's just but this honestly looks pretty darn good this looks certainly a little bit better than that i love the art style by theway you can get stl files for the mini so you can actually print out minis for it as well i really like the double page layout book here it doesn't seem to take up a lot of space but you do get some cool cards and you know the artwork looks nice and you know you're actually you know have dice that you're rolling and stuff like that it looks looks fun and they're doing quite well too over a hundred thousand and uh still nine days to go here next up we have judgment internal champions uh again a really really good game i still stand by what i say that i think the souls system here is better integrated into the game than the divinity stones of the mythic battle series i love mythic battles don't get me wrong they're very different games and i enjoy both very much so um but just speaking on that mechanic at the souls mechanic here fantastically integrated into all of your abilities into the different rule sets uh combined with other rules um the the interactions between banking them and not making them and then how how much of a target you are when you have multiple on there but then you have to go back to your effigy to turn it in unless you have somebody that can remote do which is awesome too um you know and so then you're trying to figure out that and then you're leveling up during the game really really fun game really fantastic minis the the campaign could use some help it's a little confusing on what you get and and when like how you're getting it and i i don't think it's broken down very well here so like here's gloom here but then if you look at the stretch goals gloom is like yet to be unlocked gloom will be added to the monster pack in pvc soon does that mean it gets kind of confusing right oh the issa and krogenar effigies will be on the starter sets so all these starter sets come with theirs but then the starter set with the two don't so you'll have two that don't have it and everybody else does like it it's really confusing right now which is unfortunate um just it's so broken up and compartmentalized that i think it's a little confusing also they never added my review which is a good re i think it's a good review i definitely enjoyed the game uh but the review as far as i can tell was not added to the uh the video list here so like i don't know how much they're updating this either it just it's kind of weird the terrain looks great this uh this token pack is freaking sweet again fantastic game great game great minis great uh just table presence and look great art all of that i love um kickstarter can be a little confusing so go ahead and like take a look and try and figure out exactly what it is you want and what you're getting uh for sure but definitely the game itself comes recommended and at the end of the day kickstarter eventually is done and then you actually have the game and really at the end of the day that's what matters for sure but a helpful a good well oiled kickstarter helps as well there next we have dark rituals this is the soundtrack selling of stock um three days left on this if you are interested uh very pretty looking game here i've mentioned the game a few times just take a look at what's available and where because that is kind of the confusing part uh because from what it looks like it's not even a reprint it's just selling what they got so good good luck there i guess next up we have dungeons and lasers third edition they are at a cool 1.3 million usd they did unlock the six inch tall clear plastic ghost dragon heck freaking yes and a bajillion other things as you can see i think last i showed it ended here i think that's they've added like all of this maybe it ended around here somewhere but either way they've been adding a lot i get cannons and ballistas and bells and flag posts and outhouses and rat people and then a giant freaking dragon and i mean lots of stuff of course right it and then of course you can you know build the freaking terrain as well um definitely definitely recommended here uh great quality fast delivery good production value and lots of content for a good price what more could you want well i guess there's plenty more you want but that's what you're going to get next up an announcement cyber odyssey reloaded a fun way to say it's gonna come back on kickstarter it's gonna be different um so they're gonna have the basic box here uh they did make it to where again they listened to feedback very well so the um call i mentioned in my review kind of the spread of the five districts all those five districts are now on one game board so this is a normal kind of game board with the five districts so it should take up a lot less space and be a little bit more

 organized which is awesome i think it's a great addition they're gonna have the uh um alone against the machine solo mode right up front right at the beginning they're gonna have that here it also adds kind of a uh um what is it a trader agent that could be on your team that you have to deal with so there's some interesting new mechanics there they added the route 666 which just adds more people and event cards and stuff like that to your deck so it's just kind of a enhancement one there and they have the law order thing which adds the uh the center police which are definitely not there to help you investigate crimes uh so you're gonna have to deal with them as well so there's there's the three expansions you're gonna have right at the beginning as well and they've made some changes to the uh the core game to i think just better streamline it and improve it so better on all accounts right so as long as you get those pledge tiers right and uh you know just kind of make sure they show proper stretch goals and all that kind of stuff up front and you feel like you're getting good value i think they'll do quite well so i don't know when that's coming it says it's coming i guess we'll see i'll let you guys know and really i mean that's that's it that's pretty much all i got uh there's not a you know a huge amount of like craziness right now on this tuesday but there's plenty more coming up of course i am getting the witcher it was held up in customs stupid customs but it is now released from them and coming to me so i'll be showing you an unboxing of the witcher very soon here and then of course a review to follow uh so i already got the rule book i've already started on that we'll we'll we'll go very quickly on the witcher so be on the lookout for that as well thanks so much for watching guys i hope you have a fantastic rest of your day enjoy this week it's a good week to be alive in and i'll talk to you guys again really soon you
